One day I'll get it, one day I'll see it. Tonight, at Anthéa, Carnet de la dernière pluie... You can't stop humour because of bad weather!
Accompanied by Marie-Christine Orry, an exceptional actress, Jean-Michel Ribes unfurls his notebook of mischief, leafs through his lines of poetry, combines absurdity and fantasy like no one else, throws provocative stones into the pond of our habits... What if life were a farce???...
Footsteps creak outside the door of the bedroom of the couple subscribing to the couples' resuscitation service. A policeman falls in love with a tomato – or fruit, or vegetable. It's surprising that torture isn't yet performed under anaesthesia! Marie-Antoinette frolics in the groves of the Versailles garden with Roby (Robespierre) to the point of triggering the Revolution, while King Louis XVI "loses his head"! ... The magical power of reading takes us further than theatrical performance ... Behind their respective tables, the duo of actors takes us so far! Beyond the author's laughter lurks the darkness of the world, which he proposes to combat with humour and derision: "never take yourself too seriously".

"Bravo, vo, ooooo," Mr Ribes, for this ode to life! What panache after two decades at the helm of the Théâtre du Rond-Point!
To see, read, laugh, without moderation!
