Standing ovation all the way to the back row of the balcony!
It's a cry! It's a hymn to life, to love. In an entirely pink setting, to see life in this colour from beginning to end, like a pact made with the sweetness of life, a promise never to forget: to love! A couple falls in love simply and deeply... with humour.
But while pink may be a symbol of happy feelings, it is no defence against illness, accidents, injustice, fate... What only happens to others eventually penetrates the monochrome home before our astonished, powerless eyes. From forgetting trivialities to forgetting loved ones, from the invisible to the unspeakable, from denial to struggle, Alzheimer's disease devastates two lives in one fell swoop.
Theatre? Conference? Cinema? Documentary? An evening with friends? The fourth wall between actors and spectators is crossed, broken, destroyed by the direct language of the stage to the audience, the natural sincerity of the actors-authors' performances. Everything is set out on graph paper, from lighting to sound, from performances to confessions...
Dynamism, joy, tears, hope, courage: this pair of actors has forever engraved in our memories the unbearable transience of being...
A must-see!
